What You See Is What You Get
How do I handle tough busy days? I look up and down. Sometimes you see a ripple of water and a bit of blue sky with a bit of clouds. You don’t need the big picture at all times. You simply need to see the details. What you see is what you get.

I’ve ignored the big picture from the city for a long time. It’s been days since we see so much fun without minding the garbage, the cars parked on the sideways and the ugly fences. Why not see the flowers and the beauty of nature around us? Why not mind what needs to be taken out of that landscape? I live in a terrible city to put it mildly. Bucharest is wrong from many reasons. However I have learned to chase the beauty and also authorities if I want a change. If you want to change something, start putting pressure on the authorities, it’s the best lesson learned so far. They need to change something based on feedback. Really! Action needs to be taken and it’s your right to chase them. Stop complaining how ugly life is in the city! Start doing something.

There is beauty out there. You just need to see it and you need to feel better about the city life. See what you can get out of the city, the country life, the seaside, the mountain, the moment in general. You don’t need a beach to enjoy the sun, you can rest on a piece of green grass and look through the trees into the powerful sun. Think about what makes you happy, not just what bothers you. This is how I get by. I ignore the bad. I have been doing it for years and I see beauty in strange places. To prove I see beauty, you can check what I find around me. I don’t need to carry the burden of an ugly, eclectic, uneducated city. Many have tried to change that. We can’t change what has been missing for years. The architecture and education you cannot add on. You need to gradually show the beautiful parts to cultivate the good taste and let people sort the garbage out. Once you point out the beauty, others will also want to make it stand out.

And please, don’t get me wrong, I take out ugly garbage found on the street. I recycle as much as I can. I do take action, but I am not any public authority and my job is a different one. Seeing beauty that surrounds us means opening up to the clear blue sky on a bad day. Try it and your mental vibe will be different. Of course we all miss meeting up with friends. Life is not as it used to be. But we can’t live miserably for the rest of our lives.

Oh and the other constant complain I keep hearing is about wearing the mask. Unfortunately the whole planet is learning what Japan and China have been living for so many years. Adjusting to it is only a matter of time. One lesson learned: take breaks, lose the mask and breathe deeply. Breathing is one of the elements that helps you think better. Yes, Asia has learned to live with masks on since early 2000. We will do the same. We just need a bit of training.
Life is beautiful as long as you don’t struggle to change something immediately to an older or future version. The change will come as soon as the rest see it as acceptable. This is what you get when you look out. You get time to see the changes. You get time to digest the change as a good thing. You see the beauty of nature in the urban development, while everyone sees the trash and the misdoings. What you see is what you need to get. Work for the purpose and educate others about beauty that stands out. All the bad things around us will change as soon as we bring out the constant beauty around us. It’s a matter of education and we can educate with a positive and firm attitude.

Good morning, sunshine!
